While the rest of the country is on a weather roller coaster, we have been enjoying lovely weather, just the kind we come to Arizona to find. Nothing much is happening, no doctors, no special events. We’re living a pretty boring, but wonderfully warm, life right now. Well, except for the Chiefs. Today they’re enough to give you an anxiety attack if you care at all!
Today after church we took two of our pastor’s boys to lunch and brought them back to the house for the first half of the football game. Charles, the older of the two, is a sports fanatic. His first choice team is the Seahawks, but he was cheering for the Chiefs today because that’s “LeRoy’s team” as far as he’s concerned. I care more about it than LeRoy does, but it’s fun to have the boys around for a little part of the game, anyway.
We’re planning on a day in Mexico this week to get our teeth cleaned, visit the pharmacy and of course eat a real Mexican lunch while we’re there. That’s always a pleasant day trip.
