One occupied RV left in the lot. It has felt so much lonelier today when we were here. We’ve become used to having someone else here, even if we never got outside of the bus and now we are alone again.
When we get ready to leave, we get everything stowed inside and out and then we pull the car in behind the bus, put on the towguard and hook the car to the towbar. That part takes a matter of minutes and we are ready to go. Hooking up to leave is a long process for Larry and Mileta. She has earned many Mary Kay pink Cadillacs over the years and the current one certainly deserves to be protected. Then too, Larry has a Burgman scooter that has to have a place. And what a place it is!
After that, the car goes in (while LeRoy watches to make sure it’s done right) and Larry makes his escape.
The car is fastened down tight, as is everything else, and the back door goes up. How would you like to come up behind that? It’s an actual picture of Mileta’s very own car, pointed right at you!
That was done last evening and then we were ready to go out for one last dinner at the same restaurant we took Larry on his first day here, Ole Mexican. They didn’t actually leave until 9:00 or so this morning. We prayed for their safety on the road and waved until they were out of sight. Until another day, Kinsers!
That looks like a long load, I am happy with 40 feet of bus. Safe travels to all.
