I’m still too clueless to make my pictures sync with my iPad, so those will have to wait. Today has been a beautiful day in Juneau. The forecast was for 76 degrees and I think it’s pretty close to day with a nice breeze. We’ve seen several of the things everyone on the ship had available to them as well as one thing most did not–a look inside the state offfice building. We struck up a conversation with a security guard outside and he took us in to see the giant totem pole inside and let us onto the patio that overlooks the city. We had the place to ourselves since the building is technically closed today.

We’ve added more things that we were told needed to be on our list of must-eat things. For lunch, I had clam chowder and LeRoy had clam strips. I would recommend both! We also had diet Cokes, a real treat since they cost $3.75 per can onboard ship. Fountain drinks seem to be non-existent here, just bottles or cans.

I’ll be posting a day-to-day ventures once we get back to Kansas. I have been keeping a log but really want to add pictures. Tonight we set sail again and won’t have internet access. Catch you later!
