A day without necessary RV repairs! The newest development had been that Florence Marie’s water heater quit working so LeRoy did some research and in spite of its age, found a part to fix it. Thank goodness, because the next option was a new electric one and that would have required a lot of reconfiguration. Warm showers are now possible!
We’ve discovered that one of the downsides to staying at the church is that we occasionally have people come through wanting money for gas or food. The church here usually sends them to a community service just up the street, so LeRoy knows what to do if it happens again.
Our friend Rotha Cloyd from Midland, TX let us know that a friend of hers had flown to Tucson for heart surgery. We had been in contact with his wife and found out that his surgery had been rescheduled for today so we went to visit with Kathie before Jerry’s surgery. He is probably in surgery right now so we are continuing to pray for them both. It would be less than fun, in my opinion, to be far away from friends and family for a difficult surgery. I hope we can help in some way.
Our weather forecast is for “bad” weather over this weekend, meaning daytime highs will be hovering around 60 degrees with possible rain. I know, not many people across the country feel sorry for us!
