A year in review shouldn’t be hard to do, just think on the things that you’ve done. Or the places you’ve been or the people you’ve seen, just count them all back one by one.
In twenty thirteen, oh the things that we’ve seen! Oh, the places we’ve traveled and stayed. Oh, the people we’ve played with and laughed with and stayed with, the friendships renewed or just made.
We wintered in Tucson, we hot-tubbed and swam, we rode ATVs and we hiked. We shopped down at Tubac, met friends from the past, did so many things that we liked.
Granddaughter Katrina, we saw on our way to LeRoy’s reunion in May. It really was a grandkids summer, all along the way.
We both had reunions with classmates from high school, a great time was had by all, but we all were amazed when we sat down to talk, we had 50 years to recall.
In June, after camp, we packed up to leave with the 3 youngest grandkids in tow. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore, a beautiful sight, after going where we shouldn’t go!
We visited Cody and Yellowstone, too, saw bison and elk with HUGE racks. We visited falls and paint pots and geysers. We liked them so much, we went back!
Heidi and Tim came to pick up the kids and while there, they saw all the sights. When they drove out towards home, we soon made our way to the airport to meet Alma’s flight.
We saw Cody’s museums, the Irma Hotel and watched a gunfight on the street. We saw Cody Dam, back to Yellowstone again, until we were just about beat.
When Alma went home, we then traveled on to Utah where Jordan was staying. Moving on, we saw Moab and Arches Park too, too hot to do any playing!
On the way in November we visited Texas to see where son Robert resides. Now we’re back in Tucson enjoying ourselves, and much warmer weather, besides!
Merry Christmas, my friends, it’s been a good year and though we’ve seen good times and lean, through Christ we look forward to more good times ahead in this coming year, twenty fourteen.
