The good news is…

Well, the good news is it’s under warranty. The bad news is that the transmission has to come out…again.

We came back to Global Industrial where they rebuilt Liberty’s transmission last March to have a few shift points adjusted. Overall we’ve been very pleased with the way the transmission worked, just needed minor tweaks. However yesterday afternoon when they took the bus out for a road test it was worse than before. In particular there was one big clunk on a shift that even I knew wasn’t right. And this morning there are clutch parts in the fluid! So as soon as they get their jacks to lift, we’re starting over.
And again, the good news is we may be out before the weekend! The bad news is that if they need parts, we may be here awhile. Stay tuned for further details!

About 2010liberty

Retirement agrees with us! After traveling in our 40' Silver Eagle bus conversion, whose name was Liberty, since 2010, it was time for a change. Now we spend the winter in Yuma, AZ and travel during the spring, summer and fall setting the Pace!
