This is the day that the Lord has made

What a glorious day here in New Mexico! 50 degrees, bright sun and no wind, hot mineral springs to soak in and a lovely view to see. Well, if the muddy Rio Grande can be lovely, that is.

Riverbend 007

We’ve been here at Riverbend Hot Springs in Truth or Consequences before, but never on a Sunday morning. No matter where we are across the country, we find beauty in our surroundings, whether mountains or desert or rolling pastures or wheat fields. All this God created for our enjoyment and we do.

We took our coffee to the warm water this morning to soak in the warmth and nature.

My mind goes to praise songs like Hallelujah, Hallelujah and Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul. Or hymns like For the Beauty of the Earth. God has blessed us, indeed.

We’ll be moving on toward Tucson later today after spending yesterday with LeRoy’s cousin Raymond. We enjoy those times with relatives and realize that those are blessings from God, as well. We’ve lost one of LeRoy’s cousins this past short while and we know we aren’t guaranteed even today, so we try to make the most of each one.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

About 2010liberty

Retirement agrees with us! After traveling in our 40' Silver Eagle bus conversion, whose name was Liberty, since 2010, it was time for a change. Now we spend the winter in Yuma, AZ and travel during the spring, summer and fall setting the Pace!
