We haven’t done much of anything except go walking the past few days now. It has been cool and windy in the mornings (well, cool by Yuma standards) and we’re spoiled. We have met up with a couple of Eagle friends in the past week, though. Wilbur and Laura Bradbury call Washington home but are full time RVers who spend the winter here. Yesterday we ate lunch with George and Glynda McConaughey who have a home in Wellton, just over the mountain east of Yuma. Wouldn’t you know our times with friends would center around food? Bradburys and McConaugheys have attended a couple of the same Eagles International rallies we have and will be attending a couple more this winter.
In the meantime, we’ve had some family time with our son Robert, too. He’s here in Yuma for military training and we’re enjoying his company when he has time off. He even helped me with my iPhone this week so it’s smarter than it was. I may not be, but it is!
Christmas packages are on their way to various family members, thanks mostly to LeRoy who did all the wrapping this year. I can’t remember when that has happened before.
Probably in the next week or two we’ll make it to Algodones, Mexico for a visit and give our passports their first outing. George and Glynda said they’d show us around since they haven’t been there this season, either.
