Well, the dirt movers are finished and if you didn’t know how it started, it would look like nothing had happened. We are left with…dirt!
LeRoy scattered grass seed and is watering today, so maybe it won’t blow away before we get rain. It is at least in the forecast for the end of this week and that’s encouraging.
We’ve moved Liberty inside the building and it has been an interesting experience. The weather has been pretty warm during the day, about like our summer temperatures in Colorado Springs, 80s to low 90s. Nights inside, though, are different. While the outside temperature may be in the 60s and 70s, inside with the big doors closed we are in the high 70s. We sleep with the bus windows open, but since the building has no windows there is no breeze. We start the night with no covers or at least minimal ones, but by morning we’re usually pulling up a quilt. It will be interesting to hear rain on the roof!
So if you come by and find the driveway empty and the doors shut, don’t assume that we are gone! Check the walk-in door and then you’ll know for sure. We’d love to see everyone!
Very nice building. Good that you have cover over the bus during those not so nice days. Well Done!
Looks like ours!! You need to put an exhaust fan up in the peak…that was a huge help on temp control for ours….we also have insulated well. Kindest thoughts as always from beautiful Wyoming
